In architecture, the concept of habitat refers to two elements: location and time. There is a reciprocal adaptation between the time of our habits - the daily rhythm of meditation, food, sleep and play - and the place that houses them, an interaction that generates culture and form. BAJA CLUB lighting realizes this idea, modifying the geometry of the spaces according to the user's habits. As in a symphony, the lighting instruments generate chords and movements on architectural scales; also silences, breaks to rest, have dinner, read, play. Our spaces reveal the type of animal that we are, and in our way of living the particularity of the places we call our Habita can be seen.
En arquitectura, el concepto de hábitat remite a dos elementos: localidad y tiempo. Hay una adaptación reciproca entre el tiempo de nuestros hábitos – el ritmo diario de meditación, alimentación, sueño y juego – y el lugar que los alberga, una interacción generadora de cultura y forma. La iluminación de BAJA CLUB realiza esta idea, modificando la geometría de los espacios según los hábitos del usuario. Como en una sinfonía, los instrumentos lumínicos generan acordes y movimientos en las escalas arquitectónicas; también silencios, pausas para descansar, cenar, leer, jugar. Nuestros espacios revelan el tipo de animal que somos, y en nuestra forma de vivir se deja ver la particularidad de los lugares que llamamos nuestro Habita.
