Light as Contemplative Voids.
The project stems from the subtraction of volume to generate an exhibition space. The architecture unfolds in an underground context, aiming to create space through light.
Sustainability Approach
A key aspect of the project is the recreation of natural light through simulated windows. The design of these windows focused on geometrical efficiency, reducing the amount of lighting technology needed. By carefully calculating geometrical measurements and optimizing the spatial layout, the project minimizes the use of energy while still achieving the desired lighting effect.
