The lighting of the Dome & Espadaña in Vizcaínas, had as principal aim to incorporate into the general illumination of the environment, merging the characteristics of the details, surfaces and volumes highlighted by the existing architectural project. The resolution of the term "light emanating from inside" is generated by the essence of architectural details.
The proposed lighting concept, centered on the visual recognition of architectural elements and their recovery through a coherent visual discourse with the rest of the building.
The lighting project was developed with consistency from its conceptual generation to the final realization. It was found that the creation of a lighting speech enriches the ideas and solutions of a project giving value and respect the heritage.
Lighting design for a monument has very clear goals and objectives that are merged into the creative realization of a concept. Technical solutions are combined with efficiencies lighting systems and installation processes that are appropriate for the recovery in full of the elements of the monument. Here we focus on the spatial detail and the veiling of surfaces that sustain them.
The project blacksmith was created in collaboration with the company (Proyectos & Construcciones Torres). These elements where especially design for the exact positioning and direction of light to be projected, as well as to be able to intervene on the monument surfaces with out adding or damaging its original state.  Load centers were created to accommodate the various outlets of electrical points and give more control to the entire system.
